Main Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the practice team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing patient records.
- Process appointment requests, manage patient schedules, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Assist with patient registration, medical records, and billing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including updating notice boards and leaflet dispensers.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scanning, and photocopying.
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
Thursby Surgery is a dynamic and innovative practice that values teamwork, continuous development, and patient-centered care. We are part of a Primary Care Network, working closely with community and voluntary sector providers to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Requirements- Good standard of general education, including GCSE Mathematics and English (Grade C and above).
- Practical experience of working with others and the general public or patients in a customer care role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work as part of a team, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
- Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft packages, email, and the internet.
