Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the support staff, you will work closely with teachers to support children with complex SEN in their development, following their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting children with SEN in their daily activities, including planning and creating engaging activities to meet their individual needs.
  2. Working collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective strategies to support children's learning.
  3. Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to the school's behaviour management strategies.
  4. Providing emotional support and encouragement to children with SEN, helping them to feel valued and supported.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Experience of working with children with complex SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
