About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We're seeking a Site Engineer to join our team based in Chipping Warden, responsible for overseeing construction operations in the Banbury area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating labour, plant, and materials to carry out M&E works activities to the required standards, programme, and budget.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to ensure smooth delivery of construction activities
  • Coordinating with the setting out team to ensure accurate site layout and measurement
  • Managing M&E Sub-Contractors and resolving technical problems on site
  • Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource, and cost plans

About The Candidate

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in construction and M&E activities.

Key requirements include:

  • HNC/Degree in Construction or M&E related field
  • CSCS - White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor
  • Previous structures experience is preferred
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
