At EKFB, we're proud to be appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We're seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team based in Chipping Warden. As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing the construction operations in the Banbury area, ensuring that all activities are carried out to the required standards, programme, and budget.

You'll work closely with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials, and be responsible for the performance and development of M&E Sub-Contractors. You'll also resolve technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with contractors and ensuring smooth delivery in a 'just in time' fashion
  • Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource, and cost plans
  • Contributing to financial forecasting

We're looking for someone with a HNC/Degree in Construction/M&E related field or equivalent, and a CSCS - White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor card. Previous structures experience is preferred, and you must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
