Clinical Lead for Neurodevelopmental Services

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Clinical Lead for Neurodevelopmental Services at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.



As a key figure in our team, you will oversee the delivery of specialist services while maintaining a clinical caseload. Your expertise in dynamic, holistic, and evidence-based assessments will enable you to identify neurodevelopmental needs and provide guidance to the multidisciplinary team.



One of your primary responsibilities will be to deputise for the Operational Lead, ensuring seamless leadership and decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for the line management, case supervision, and appraisal of team colleagues.



To be successful in this role, you must possess a mental health or equivalent qualification, with a strong track record of working with neurodivergent young people and their families. Your experience in a mental health setting is essential, as is your ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Oversee the delivery of specialist services for neurodevelopmental needs
  2. Conduct dynamic, holistic, and evidence-based assessments to identify neurodevelopmental needs
  3. Deputise for the Operational Lead as required
  4. Line manage, case supervise, and appraise team colleagues
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes
  6. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care


Requirements:


  • Mental health or equivalent qualification
  • Strong track record of working with neurodivergent young people and their families
  • Experience in a mental health setting
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
