About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Unit Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional care to our residents.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and a proven track record of leading and supervising a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care to residents.
  • Workload Delegation: Delegate workload effectively to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Resident Care: Ensure residents' medical, physical, and emotional needs are met, while championing their safety and dignity.
  • Admissions and Risk Assessments: Oversee the admissions process and conduct physical and psychological risk assessments to develop personalized care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication to residents as required.
  • Service Development: Work closely with the leadership team to develop and improve services.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care: Hold a recognized qualification in health and social care.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to build trust and effective working relationships.
  • Organizational and IT Skills: Be well-organized and IT literate, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
