Job Title: Safeguarding Manager

We are seeking a skilled Safeguarding Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment. As a key member of our housing environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our vulnerable customers.

The successful candidate will provide support and guidance to colleagues in identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns, including training on types and signs of abuse. They will also oversee case management, data tracking, and follow-up on action plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing expert guidance on safeguarding policies and procedures.
  2. Collaborating with external partners and agencies to ensure joined-up approaches to safeguarding.
  3. Leading on the coordination and development of safeguarding policies, maintaining compliance with legislation and best practices.
  4. Managing complex safeguarding cases, involving both adults and children.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of managing safeguarding cases, a strong understanding of legislation surrounding safeguarding, mental capacity, domestic abuse, and reporting processes. They will also possess excellent communication and coordination skills.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Exeter, Tolvaddon, or Weston-super-Mare offices, with the option for hybrid working. We welcome applications from individuals interested in job share or flexible working hours.
