Job Title: Safeguarding Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguarding Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our vulnerable customers.

Location:

Cornwall, Exeter, or Weston-Super-Mare offices, with the option for hybrid working.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to colleagues in identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns, including training on types and signs of abuse. You will oversee case management, data tracking, and follow up on action plans. Additionally, you will lead on the coordination and development of safeguarding policies, maintaining compliance with legislation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues in identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns.
  • Oversee case management, data tracking, and follow up on action plans.
  • Lead on the coordination and development of safeguarding policies.
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies to ensure joined-up approaches to safeguarding.
  • Have relevant experience managing complex safeguarding cases, involving both adults and children.
  • Understand the legislation surrounding and relating to Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Domestic Abuse, and reporting processes.
  • Possess the ability to coordinate safeguarding concerns.
  • Have experience identifying safeguarding concerns in people's homes.
  • Possess a level 3 safeguarding qualification.
Requirements:

This is a full-time, permanent position. Although people interested in job share or flexible working hours will also be considered.
