Job Title: Adults Community Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our Older Adults Physiotherapy Team at the Julian Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing, developing, and planning specialist treatment and interventions for older adults with complex mental health and physical problems.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of service users
  2. Conduct moving and handling assessments, falls, balance, neurological, MSK, respiratory assessments, and corresponding treatments
  3. Deliver groups and exercise programs to promote physical health and wellbeing
  4. Provide specialist advice, educate others, and support more junior staff to ensure high-quality care
  5. Utilize community equipment provision systems to facilitate transition of care during service users' discharge process
  6. Complete home visits and visiting care homes to support discharge planning
  7. Collaborate with other AHPs and the wider MDT to provide high-quality care for service users
