About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Older Peoples Mental Health Inpatient Services at The Julian Hospital in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team to provide high-quality care to older adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health conditions.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and management of services to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Support the management and training of junior medical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of older adults mental health.

  • Entry on the GMC Register
  • Approved Clinician Status
  • Section 12(2) Approval under the Mental Health Act
  • Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST
