Head of Maintenance and Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Maintenance to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our care homes, focusing on maintenance and facilities management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of maintenance staff to ensure the upkeep of our care homes, including repairs, maintenance, and minor construction projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of maintenance funds.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced maintenance professional with a strong background in property maintenance and management. You will have a proven track record of leading teams and managing budgets, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our care homes, focusing on maintenance and facilities management. You will work closely with our care teams to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality care and support.
