About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team at Grosvenor Casinos. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for supporting the General Manager in maximizing performance across all areas of the casino, with a specific focus on the Hosting Team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing an excellent product and customer experience through all hosting activities in the casino, while upholding the principles of safer gambling.
  • Supporting the Management Team in driving the performance of the casino, measured against a balanced scorecard of targets covering finance, customer service, and team metrics.
  • Championing and role-modeling our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions.
  • Helping to build a highly capable management team who are fanatical about safer gambling, customer excellence, and a quality product.
  • Assisting the recruitment and development of a strong team of multi-skilled employees, ensuring they deliver the Grosvenor brand experience across sales, leisure, and food and beverage.
  • Proactively driving sales and controlling margin and costs to drive casino profitability.
  • Ensuring the casino proactively complies with all regulation, particularly the Gaming Commission licensing requirements, and that you are a champion for safer gambling.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record of leadership experience within a service-driven environment, such as hospitality, entertainment, leisure, or food and beverage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with the wider business.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to drive sales and control costs.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to upholding the principles of safer gambling.
  • Flexibility to work at peak times, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required by the business.
