About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Business Development Executive to join our team at UK Research and Innovation. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies and plans.
  • Respond to enquiries from a wide range of institutional and commercial sources.
  • Manage internal and external key relationships.
  • Develop new opportunities and work with colleagues to close deals and funding opportunities.
  • Promote our capabilities through various channels.
  • Carry out dedicated business development projects.
Requirements
  • Achieved, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK at time of starting employment.
  • Technical background in science or engineering.
  • Business development aptitude, demonstrating excellent customer facing, communication, networking and influencing skills.
  • Able to form good working relationships from all teams and levels.
  • Can grasp new topics and acquire new skills quickly.
  • Be incredibly coachable and willing to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills.
