About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Business Development Executive to join our team at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). As a key member of our Business and Innovation Directorate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our business strategy and driving growth through innovative partnerships and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of our business strategy and identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional and commercial partners.
  • Develop and implement business development plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Provide market research and analysis to inform business development decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business development projects.
Requirements
  • Achieved or be on course to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK at the time of starting employment.
  • Technical background in science or engineering.
  • Business development aptitude, demonstrating excellent customer-facing, communication, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Able to form good working relationships with all teams and levels.
  • Can grasp new topics and acquire new skills quickly.
  • Be incredibly coachable and willing to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills.
