Human Resources Coordinator

Description: We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at MorePeople. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll and HR tasks, including processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, administering pension scheme and annual leave system, verifying timesheets and uploading weekly rota into time & attendance system. Additionally, the candidate will manage recruitment, maintain employee records and contracts in line with legislation, draft routine correspondence, forms, and templates, conduct inductions and return-to-work meetings, and assist with disciplinary/grievance hearings and employee performance reviews.
Requirements:
- Previous payroll and HR experience (2+ years)
- Knowledge of employment law and ACAS Code of Practice
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Experience with Sage 50 Payroll (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills
- CIPD qualification (desirable)
Work Environment: Predominantly office-based with a supportive team. This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £27,000 - £31,000 per year.
