About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at VolkerWessels UK Ltd. As a key member of our Highways Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of major surfacing and public realm infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in site management, with experience in leading teams and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects. You will be responsible for managing resources, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining good working relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of site managers, engineers, and technicians to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and implement site management plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budget targets are achieved.
Requirements
  • NVQ 4 or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • CSCS - Supervisor certification.
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme - CITB or equivalent.
