About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to our young residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted and Care Standards Act 2000
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications in leadership and management, such as a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
  • At least two years' experience in a residential children's setting, with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of children's homes regulation, including Quality Standards 2015 and Ofsted
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and build strong relationships with staff, residents, and external partners
  • DBS Certificate and suitable to work with children
