**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to teachers in delivering educational programmes and assisting students in their learning activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
  • Assisting students with their learning tasks
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with special needs
  • Assisting with classroom supervision and behaviour management
  • Preparing educational materials and resources
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Good understanding of educational practises and principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • First Aid certification
