About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Agricultural and Farming Jobs. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers to drive business growth and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell a wide range of agricultural and equine products to merchants and farmers in the North of England.
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities to hit sales budgets.
  • Utilize CRM software to track daily activities, projects, and customer information.
  • Effectively communicate market findings and customer insights to management.
  • Assist in the compilation of sales reports and ensure CRM is updated regularly.
Requirements
  • Proven B2B field sales experience in the agricultural and/or equine sector.
  • A proven history of working to and achieving sales budgets/targets.
  • Strong working knowledge of the farming, agriculture, and/or equine industries.
  • Based in the North of England with a full clean driving license.
  • Desirable: commercial marketing and merchandising experience, fluency in English, and advanced negotiation and selling skills.
