Backend Developer Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Ethero. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining backend services to support our internal and external Angular applications, including our company website. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in C# and the .NET 4.5 framework / .Net Core to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and maintaining efficient and reusable code, identifying and rectifying bottlenecks, bugs and other issues, and initiating code quality standards. They will work closely with our development team to design and implement backend services that meet the needs of our business. The salary for this role is circa £58,000 plus excellent benefits, making it a highly attractive opportunity for experienced software engineers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have a strong understanding of SOLID principles, RESTful services and API design and DDD. Experience with Entity Framework 6 and dependency injection, mocking frameworks, caching methodologies and the Service-Repository pattern is also essential. Additionally, they will need to be able to perform automated testing: unit, integration, smoke, and have working knowledge of MS Azure DevOps CI and CD pipelines and the ability to manage MS Azure resources. The role is UK based and does not have sponsorship opportunities available.
