We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
  • Collaborate with our team of SEN Support Specialists to ensure seamless support and progress for each young person
  • Conduct regular progress assessments and provide feedback to young people, parents, and our team
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
