Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of service users, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Work closely with service users and their families to provide tailored support and encourage independence.
  • Participate in various activities, such as bowling, food shopping, money management, and swimming, to promote confidence and self-esteem.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the home, including administrative tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar setting within the last 2 years.
  • Training courses and a willingness to undertake additional training if necessary.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working with young adults and supporting their personal growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with service users and staff.
