Job Description: We are seeking a talented Transportation Leadership Role candidate to join our team at Gatik AI Inc.

About Our Company: We are a leading provider of autonomous transportation solutions, dedicated to revolutionizing the industry.

Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 per year

About the Job: As a Transportation Leadership Role, you will oversee the management and performance of our Autonomous Vehicle Operators and local vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient operation of vehicles on a complex route network, supporting customer deliveries, and training/testing our autonomous class 3-7 box trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driver Selection and Onboarding: Recruit, screen, and hire qualified truck drivers, ensuring they meet all company and regulatory requirements.
  • Driver Management: Conduct ride-along trips with drivers to evaluate performance, train, and analyze behaviors aligned to safety, quality, and customer service support.
  • Safety and Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture, enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure adherence to all FMCSA, DOT, and company regulations.
  • Fleet Readiness and Maintenance: Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and oversee timely preventative maintenance and repairs for assigned fleet, minimizing downtime.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain positive, constructive relationships with assigned customers, proactively delivering on key performance indicators, addressing service issues, and pursuing contract growth opportunities.
  • Route Scheduling: Manage daily route planning and scheduling to ensure on-time deliveries while maximizing fleet efficiency and managing labor costs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze driver performance metrics and fleet data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in transportation management, ideally with a focus on driver supervision and fleet operations.
  • Familiarity with route planning software and transportation management systems.
  • Valid US CDL driver's license, clean driving record, and safe driving habits.
  • Clean background check, drug screen, and DMV Motor Vehicle Record check.
  • Ability and experience operating Class 3 to Class 6 vehicles.
