We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced teachers and specialists to support students with a range of additional learning needs.
About the RoleThe SEN Teaching Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the educational, emotional, and social development of our students. This will involve working closely with the teaching team to provide individualized support, creating a positive learning environment, and helping students develop life skills.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with Autism, Speech and Language needs, Physical Disabilities, Learning Difficulties, and social/emotional needs
- Work closely with teachers and specialists to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Provide emotional and social support to students, helping them to build strong relationships and develop life skills
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a positive and bright personality. Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults is highly desirable, as is a relevant degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Health and Social Care.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive daily rate of £80-£90, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. If you are passionate about working with children with special educational needs and are looking for a rewarding and challenging role, we would love to hear from you.
