Commercial Manager Opportunity

Profectus, a small but growing company, is seeking a driven individual to lead the commercial function and focus on growing client relationships and increasing revenue.

The company specializes in cutting-edge software solutions designed to track and report visitor numbers and behavior, primarily within the heritage sector. As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the business, ensuring revenue targets are met and the company's financial health is sustained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • P&L Oversight: Manage the financial performance of the business, ensuring revenue targets are met and the company's financial health is sustained.
  • Client Management: Work closely with existing and new customers, building long-term relationships and ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Revenue Growth: Focus on expanding opportunities with current clients, offering new products and services, and optimizing pricing strategies to maximize revenue potential.
  • New Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, supported by a marketing team from the wider group.
  • Product Development Liaison: Engage with clients to understand their needs and work with the development team to enhance or adjust software solutions accordingly.

Candidate Profile:

  • Heritage Sector Experience: You have experience working directly in the heritage sector or have experience working with clients in this area, or have a genuine interest in heritage and cultural institutions.
  • Sales and Account Management Skills: You have a track record of managing client accounts and driving revenue growth, with a focus on relationship building rather than aggressive sales tactics.
  • P&L Management: Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss, forecast revenue, and assess business performance.
  • Versatile Communication: Able to engage with clients at all levels, from operational staff to senior executives, and confident in managing price negotiations and submitting tenders.
