Job Title: Family Support and Bereavement Senior Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Support and Bereavement Senior Practitioner to join our team at Mary Ann Evans Hospice. As a key member of our Family Support and Bereavement team, you will provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and families affected by bereavement.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one emotional support sessions for adults who require support with a bereavement or pre-bereavement.
  • Facilitate group support sessions for adults and children.
  • Assess new clients to understand their needs and allocate them to the most suitable support service.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to volunteers.
  • Assist the Family Support and Bereavement Services Team Lead in ensuring all relevant data is collated, analysed, and distributed as required.
