Senior Bereavement Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Bereavement Practitioner to join our team at Mary Ann Evans Hospice. As a key member of our Family Support and Bereavement team, you will provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and families affected by bereavement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one emotional support sessions for adults and children
- Facilitate group support sessions for adults and children
- Assess new clients to understand their needs and allocate them to the most suitable support service
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to volunteers
Requirements:
- Qualified and experienced Health, Social Care or Education professional
- Experience of working with adults and children in a health, social, therapeutic or education setting
- Empathetic approach and ability to build a safe, honest, open environment and rapport with clients

Mary Ann Evans Hospice is an adult community hospice in North Warwickshire, providing palliative and end-of-life nursing care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
