Job Overview

The role of Lead Store Director involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Clydebank, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets and maximize profits.

Responsibilities
  • Sales and Profit Maximization: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and optimize profit margins in the store.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and high sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the maintenance of a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment that meets company standards.
  • Cash Handling and Security: Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and maintain the security of the store premises.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring customers receive a positive experience in-store.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven retail management experience with a track record of success in sales growth and team leadership.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent, with a focus on business studies or related fields.
