Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Nurse in Outpatient Care

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The London Clinic, delivering exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art consulting rooms. With a competitive salary range of up to £46,236 per annum, this is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the clinic's philosophy, policies, and NMC guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with senior and junior staff to deliver quality standards of nursing care.
  • Take responsibility for individualized patient care, working closely with consultants, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure accuracy and legibility of nursing records, with awareness of legal implications.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans for patients.
  • Coordinate and assist with Minor Gynaecology, Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, and ENT clinics independently.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through mandatory updates and external training.
  • Foster effective communication and working relationships with colleagues and patients.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to enhance team communication and collaboration.
  • Utilize the clinic's patient information system to ensure comprehensive patient notes are documented.
  • Assist in maintaining stock items within budget boundaries and participate in weekly stock checks.
  • Undertake office duties and be in charge where required, with distant supervision from Clinical Rooms Manager and Sister in Charge.
  • Liaise with consultant secretaries, insurance companies, and the International Office as necessary.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' surgical experience in a specific specialty (ideally Gynaecology, ENT/Dermatology, or Colorectal).
  • Proven experience in wound management.
  • Competent in removing all types of sutures, clips, and aseptic dressings.
  • ILS/BLS certificate.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate your workload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in clear English.
  • Good PC skills and time management.
  • NMC registered and Level 1 RN with revalidation in place.
