Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic oversight of project deliverables, ensuring optimal performance in time, cost, and quality metrics while maintaining rigorous safety standards.
- Provide visionary leadership to cross-functional teams spanning design, site operations, and commissioning across a diverse project portfolio.
- Establish and cascade critical objectives to project team leads (Procurement, Engineering, Construction, etc.), implementing robust monitoring systems to ensure alignment with overarching project goals.
- Direct comprehensive project cost control strategies, optimizing resource allocation and financial performance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of sophisticated method statements and risk assessments, ensuring best-in-class operational practices.
- Demonstrate fiscal acumen in managing complex budgets and programs, consistently delivering projects within financial and temporal constraints.
- Cultivate an organizational culture characterized by transparency, open communication, and continuous improvement, fostering innovation and excellence across teams.
Requirements:
- Extensive strategic leadership in managing complex Substation projects up to 400kV.
- Advanced certification in Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
- Superior interpersonal acumen, with a history of building and maintaining high-level stakeholder relationships.
- Full driving license, enabling mobility for critical site visits and key meetings.
- Demonstrated success in driving robust financial performance within challenging contracting environments.
- Comprehensive understanding and implementation of cutting-edge safety and quality management systems.
- Advanced project management credentials such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMI are highly desirable.
