About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Process and Policy Lead to join our team at Gowling WLG. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement processes and policies that drive business value and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Develop and manage procurement processes, policies, and systems to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that drive business value.
  • Develop and deliver training and education programs to foster a collaborative communication style with procurement and non-procurement users.
  • Maintain and continuously improve procurement policies and processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Guide and support procurement colleagues and internal stakeholders to maximize value and achieve business goals.

About You:

  • Has excellent stakeholder management skills and can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Is comfortable handling administrative tasks and has strong organizational skills.
  • Has strong training and presentation skills and can effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Has a process-driven mindset and can identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Has experience in drafting policies and procedures.
  • Has expertise in setup and mobilization.
  • Is a self-starter with a proactive approach and can use initiative to drive results.
