Electrical and Mechanical Systems Developer

Rittal-CSM is a leading manufacturer of enclosures for the electrical, electronic and IT markets. At our UK engineering and manufacturing facility in Plymouth, we are seeking a mechatronics engineer or similar to develop low-voltage (DC) power distribution systems for data centre infrastructures.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled professional to report into our Engineering Manager and work on the development and design of electromechanical components and products in the field of low-voltage technology.
- Development and design of electromechanical components and products in the field of low-voltage technology.
- Thermal and mechanical simulations of power distribution systems (busbars).
- Development and support of digital data models (digital twin).
- Supporting mechanical engineering team as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed studies or training in mechatronics, electrical engineering or a similar qualification.
- Experience in the management of thermal and mechanical simulations.
This role comes with a competitive salary of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, reflecting the high demand for skilled engineers in this field.
