We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our Development Finance team at Saffron Building Society. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of development finance cases from inception to completion, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, surveyors, quantity surveyors, and solicitors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in property development and self-build finance to drive growth.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of development finance cases, ensuring timely completion and sale of properties, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Provide valuable research and information on industry trends, competitor product initiatives, and market intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.
- Compliance and Risk: Ensure adherence to all audit and compliance requirements, conducting regular control checks to maintain a green audit status.
- Credit Committee: Review and monitor self-build cases and self-build watch list, reporting back findings and recommendations to the Credit Committee.
- Repeat Business: Facilitate repeat business from existing borrowers, maintaining lending relationships and driving customer loyalty.
- External Representation: Represent Saffron For Intermediaries at external events, promoting our brand and services.
- Experience: Demonstrable relationship management experience in dealing with clients and third parties, with a proven track record in property development and self-build finance.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of property development and self-build finance, with a strong understanding of the development finance lending process.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
