Technical Manager - Residential Development

A leading architectural practice seeks a seasoned Technical Manager to lead their residential development projects in Chelmsford.

Job Overview:

This exciting opportunity requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in delivering large-scale housing developments, ranging from 50 to over 500 units. The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive project delivery within budget and time constraints, and ensure seamless execution of technical details.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical project delivery for residential developments (50-500+ units).
  • Coordinate and guide multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Ensure technical compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Oversee project documentation and resolve design challenges.
Requirements:
  • Substantial years of experience in technical management for residential development.
  • Ability to deliver large-scale housing projects on time and budget.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
