We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our expert team at Penguin Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering housing development projects, particularly those ranging from 50 to over 500 units.

The successful candidate will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, transform design concepts into actionable plans, and ensure seamless project delivery within budget and time constraints. Ideal candidates will have experience in the residential development sector, excelling in technical detailing, project management, and team coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading technical project delivery for housing developments.
  2. Developing and managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  3. Ensuring technical compliance with building codes and regulations.
  4. Overseeing project documentation and resolving design challenges.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, 23 days holiday plus the Christmas shut down period and bank holidays, healthcare, pension contribution, and payment of accreditations.

Requirements:

  1. Substantial years of experience in technical management for residential development.
  2. Ability to deliver large-scale housing projects on time and budget.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction.
  4. Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  5. Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
