About the Role

Skern Lodge Limited t/a Skern Training and Skills is seeking enthusiastic individuals to embark on a rewarding career in the hospitality industry. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant pub and restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service by serving food and beverages to patrons.
  • Process payments efficiently and manage customer transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and replenishing condiments.
  • Participate in comprehensive training to achieve a nationally recognized qualification.

What We Offer

This position includes a flexible 30-hour contract spread over a 7-day week, with potential late shifts. The starting wage for apprentices is £6.40 per hour, with scheduled reviews every 12 weeks to assess performance and potential pay increases.

Apprentice Pay Scale

  • Initial 12-week period: £6.40
  • Following 12-week period: £7.50 (subject to satisfactory completion)
  • Third 12-week period: £8.50 (subject to satisfactory completion)
  • Final 12-week period: £10.50 (subject to satisfactory completion)
  • Upon qualification and employment: £12.00 per hour
