Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Manager to lead the clinical and operational management of our operating theatre and day care services. The successful candidate will have extensive Theatre Management experience and be able to deliver services within budget, whilst maintaining quality and meeting the needs and expectations of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical and operational management of all operating theatre and day care services
  • Deliver services within budget, whilst maintaining quality and meeting the needs and expectations of patients
  • Ensure theatre staff deliver high-quality specialist services for planned procedures and maintain an effective on-call out-of-hours service
  • Support the development of new roles and new ways of working within theatres
  • Provide a highly responsive service to Consultants

Requirements

  • NMC or HCPC registered
  • Extensive Theatre Management experience
  • Highly desirable - working within the Private Sector
  • Experience managing highly complex surgeries for adults
