Theatre Support Worker Role

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Support Worker to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the UK. As a Theatre Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres, providing exceptional patient care and supporting our experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing theatre and recovery areas for operating sessions.
  • Stocking cupboards and stock containers with medical supplies.
  • Assisting with patient transfers and positioning on the operating table.
  • Acting as a circulating person for the scrub team.
  • Performing porter duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Healthcare Support Worker experience in an Operating Theatre environment.
  • 6 months + experience working in Theatres as a HCA, or significant experience working as a HCA in a Hospital Healthcare Setting.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Computer Systems, Meditech, Theatre Man, Microsoft Outlook, and Infection Prevention Control.
