Senior Support Worker, Scarborough

Avalon Group, a renowned adult social care charity, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Support Worker to join their team in Scarborough. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate assist the local management team in undertaking basic management tasks in specific Supported Living Houses.
As a Senior Support Worker with Avalon Group, you will be responsible for providing direct support to our customers, while also contributing to the development of management skills. Key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Inducting new Support Workers
- Undertaking audits and inspections, and participating in customer reviews
- Undertaking direct observations of Support Workers and identifying areas for improvement in conjunction with the manager
- Updating support plans and risk assessments
- Providing direct support to our customers
- Participating in the local out of hours on-call service on a rota basis
Requirements: A driver with access to a vehicle for work purposes is preferred, although not essential. The successful candidate will be required to travel between support calls.
