This is an exciting opportunity to lead on a range of construction projects, working with clients to deliver complex and high-value developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing large-scale projects within the Education, Life Sciences, and Defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project management commissions from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client objectives.
  • Act as the primary client interface, providing strategic guidance and day-to-day support to ensure successful project outcomes.
Scope and Deliverables

Project Directors manage commissions of varying scale and value, typically up to £40m. However, advisory projects may involve larger overall project sizes.

The role involves:

  • Providing strategic advice at the project conception stage, including recommending approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Establishing success criteria for projects, encompassing time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing effective project governance, processes, and systems for seamless project execution.
  • Advising on resource procurement and leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, using KPIs to enhance project performance.
  • Managing change control processes and advising on project finances.
  • Facilitating regular meetings and written communications to ensure smooth project information flow between the team and clients.
  • Producing formal project progress reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Interfacing with clients and consultants at all project stages.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients, focusing on cross-selling and bid development.
  • Ensure project case studies, photographs, and CV files are up to date.
  • Pursue opportunities to improve project management products and services.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects in a consultancy environment.
