Aviation Project Lead for Major Civil Engineering Projects

Fawkes & Reece London is a leading recruitment agency working with a Tier 1 main contractor to find a highly skilled Project Manager for a new and exciting opportunity. Our client has recently secured a contract worth over £750 million for multiple Aviation projects across the country, and we are supporting them in their search for a Project Manager to oversee the works on RAF Bases in Oxford and Lincoln.



The scope of this project involves runway resurfacing and upgrades to the airport/base, requiring a candidate with experience in a Tier 1 Environment, Highways, Aviation, and/or major Civil engineering projects valued at £50 million. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, organizational skills, and knowledge of CDM regulations.



This role offers a hybrid flexibility arrangement, with 12 months spent working on a project in Lincoln and a further 2 years on a project in Oxford. The candidate must be willing to relocate if necessary. Key responsibilities include:




  • Proven technical and project management abilities
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and ability to implement safe systems of work
  • Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment
  • Sufficient experience in civil engineering projects
