Business Development Executive - ICT Channel

Are you a sales professional looking for a new challenge in the ICT industry? Do you have a proven track record of identifying and converting business opportunities into new relationships? We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our ICT Channel division, working closely with our team to drive sales growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Qualify Prospects: Utilize your industry knowledge and sales skills to identify potential customers that meet our sector requirements.
  • Make Effective Sales Calls: Conduct thorough qualifying sales calls to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Set Appointments: Schedule meetings with key decision-makers to discuss our products and services.
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Work closely with our sales team to manage the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing new business.
  • Conduct Supplier Meetings: Build relationships with our suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.
  • Build a Network of Vendor/Supplier Introducers: Establish a network of resellers, suppliers, and VARs to support our sales efforts.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure that our clients and suppliers receive exceptional levels of customer service, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry developments and adapt to changes and opportunities as they arise.
  • Represent the Company: Understand and represent our company proposition in a professional manner, adhering to our compliance requirements.
  • Engage with Internal Departments: Collaborate with all departments within the company to ensure seamless communication and support.
Requirements:
  • Previous B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a strong understanding of the finance sector.
  • ICT Market Experience: Familiarity with the ICT market, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Network of Resellers/Suppliers/VARs: Established relationships with resellers, suppliers, and VARs in the ICT industry.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to identify, qualify, and close sales.
  • Positive and Outgoing Individual: A positive, outgoing individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Performance/Target Driven: A performance-driven individual with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Time Management and Planning: Ability to plan and manage your own diary, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
