Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Medway and Swale, working within our Community Mental Health services. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing holistic and person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions to service users in their homes and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with service users referred to Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service.
- Provide short-term specific psychosocial interventions for those who would benefit from crisis interventions.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of induction, training and education of students and staff.
- Deliver individual care plans for a caseload.
- Implement policies as directed by the trust/directorate for the department.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, and emotional information using a variety of mediums.

Requirements- A recognised OT professional qualification.
- Registration with the HCPC.
- Trained as a practice educator with experience managing learners in the work place.
- Two or more years post qualified experience.
