Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will work directly with service users in their homes and communities, providing holistic and person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
Main Duties:
- Working with service users referred to Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service.
- Providing short-term specific psychosocial interventions for those who would benefit from crisis interventions.
- Contributing to the planning and implementation of induction, training and education of students and staff.
- Delivering individual care plans for a caseload.
- Implementing policies as directed by the trust/directorate for the department.
- Communicating complex, sensitive, and emotional information using a variety of mediums.

Requirements:
- A recognised OT professional qualification.
- Registration with the HCPC.
- Trained as a practice educator with experience managing learners in the workplace.
- Two or more years post-qualified experience.
Desirable:
- Registered member of the relevant professional body and/or special interest group.
- Experience of being involved in service developments or audits.
High Cost Area Allowance:
The successful applicant will receive an additional payment each month, subject to a minimum payment of £1,192 per year and a maximum payment of £2,011 per year.
