Our team in the UK currently has an opening for a Sales Professional in the Food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly/quarterly/annual Gross Profit budget.
  • Develop customer relationships using effective sales techniques and the company's sales procedures.
  • Manage accounts against set targets, including mandatory face-to-face sales call quotas each month.
  • Business development of sourcing and converting new trading accounts.
  • Maintain a sales plan for the area, monitoring and mapping time scales and actions required to achieve growth.
  • Maintain customer pricing, updating and communicating and negotiating where needed.
  • Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities, recording projects and updating CRM.
  • Liaise with appropriate TSMs to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on competitor's activities in order to identify sales opportunities.
  • Contribute to industry and company product development to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Completion of Visit Reports on a daily basis, allowing relevant members of the sales support team to follow up any actions.
  • Proactively assist in managing Working Capital targets for the depot, including the reduction of bad debtors.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process by forecasting sales and profit within the sales area.

Requirements:

  • Experience of B2B Sales is essential.
  • Previous experience as an Account Manager ideally within the Food industry or similar.
  • Proven track record in building sales figures and margins within a competitive and mature market.
