Trauma Care Specialist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Trauma Care Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to patients with complex trauma needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the rehabilitation pathway of patients, working closely with other teams to ensure seamless transitions to appropriate rehabilitation services. You will also participate in relevant Trauma Network meetings and contribute to the development of innovative service projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Attend relevant meetings regarding patient discharges and Trauma/Rehabilitation specialty group meetings.
- Develop and maintain data bases/information systems to demonstrate timing and coordination of rehabilitation decisions, referrals, and transfers of care.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that appropriate training and development needs are identified and implemented to support these activities.
**Requirements:**
- Degree level qualification with HCPC or NMC.
- Evidence of relevant post graduate training in rehabilitation.
- Evidence of audit and quality improvement.
