Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager - Service Procurement to join our Construction Management team in East Anglia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from tender to completion, ensuring successful project delivery on time and to a high quality.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing contracts, with experience in leading teams and collaborating with clients. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversight of project planning, design, and contract administration
  2. Effective collaboration with site delivery teams to ensure timely project completion
  3. Proactive management of project risks and issues
  4. Maintenance of strong client relationships

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or comparable qualification
  • Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager with a Main Contractor in East Anglia
  • Exceptional client-facing and management skills, with experience in leading teams of up to 15 staff

Working Environment

You will be based in East Anglia, covering sites predominantly in Norfolk, working closely with our pre-construction team and site delivery teams to deliver successful projects. Our company has an excellent reputation in the regional main contracting market, and this new opportunity is due to successful project wins starting in 2025.
