People Partner and HR Specialist

We are seeking an experienced People Partner and HR Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. This role will be based in the Woking area, with potential travel to other sites required.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a generalist HR role, with expertise in managing workforce change/transformation programmes. You will possess strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with managers, colleagues, and trade unions.
About the RoleThis is a temporary position, expected to last 4 months with possible extension. The proposed start date is ASAP. You will be paid up to £29 per hour Umbrella or £25 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay, working 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £33,600 per annum, based on the hourly rate and hours worked.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Workforce Planning: Ensure workforce capacity and capability align with future organisational needs and strategic objectives.
- Employee Relations & HR Support: Provide expert advice on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations to mitigate risks and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Leadership Development: Coach and support managers to develop skills for addressing workforce challenges, driving engagement, and managing change effectively.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyse workforce data (e.g., retention, training, attendance) to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Transformation & Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives, including consultation, workforce planning, and policy development.
- Partnership & Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, staff-side representatives, and leadership to align People initiatives with organisational priorities.
- Inclusive Culture Building: Champion diversity and empower employees through engagement and shared expertise.
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- Postgraduate Diploma in HRM or a relevant qualification.
- Associate CIPD membership.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
