Black Fox Solutions is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team of professionals in the mechanical contracting industry.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical installations, analyse project plans and specifications, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical installations, including heating, plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation, and BMS systems.
- Analyse project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Review and adjust estimates as necessary to align with project goals and budget constraints.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and labour costs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of estimating procedures and databases.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of heating, plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation, and BMS systems.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
