Medical Records Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Records Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and summarising patient medical records, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of clinical information.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate, tidy and accurately summarise incoming patient records
- Review electronic transfers of medical records and ensure accurate recording and coding
- Code clinical information onto patient computerised records
- Deal with queries and questions relating to summarising and/or coding of medical records
- Perform administrative tasks relating to patient records, including filing, scanning and document management
Person Specification
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload
- Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
